- Step into the story of The Jolly Postman in an interactive exhibition
- Follow a family trail through our hands-on permanent galleries
- Become a jolly postie in Sorted! The Postal Play Space (not included in museum ticket)
- Take part in arts and crafts activities delivered in partnership with Faber-Castell
Why not come dressed up as your favourite spooky fairy-tale character, like the Wicked Witch or Big Bad Wolf?

Make Your Own Shadow Puppet
Monday 26 October – Sunday 1 November / Drop in, from 10:00 – 16:00
Takes place in the Mail Rail depot.
The Jolly Postman has a mystical parcel for the witch. Join us in the Mail Rail Depot as we use our imaginations to work out what’s inside!
Get crafty with artist-quality stationery from Faber-Castell and magic up your own shadow puppet! Then bring your creations to life in our spellbinding shadow theatre.
Family activities are included in museum admission, but places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Families of all ages welcome!
